Ileach is always well received by critics and this cask strength version was awarded an astounding 97 points by Jim Murray in his 2010 Whiskey Bible.
Nose: Charcoal flecked, smoke-driven peat. campfire. iodine. Succulents. Lemon zest.
Taste: Light lemon. Burnt meat.
Finish: medium length. The smoke is thin and slightly spicy. Slight woody sweetness. Just slightly bitter.
