Mortlach 14 Year Old was nicknamed Alexander's Way in honor of the distillery's previous owner, Alexander Cowie.

Thanks to Alexander Cowie, Mortlach distilled its spirit 2.81 times, a rather unique process known as "The Way". so,

There you have it, Alexander Way. This expression has been matured for 14 years in complementary bourbon and sherry casks, with plenty of cream and spice-filled jam.

Nose: Lemon zest and lemon curd, upside-down apple cake, cinnamon sponge and vanilla cream with a hint of spice.

Taste: Loads of spice with hints of ginger, clove, nutmeg and white pepper balancing floral notes, dry tea, melted white chocolate, peach and cream, sweet malt and earthy oak.

Finish: More warm ginger returns with grapefruit peel and polished oak.
