Mars Shinshu Yuebai Blended Japanese Whiskey

Production Area: Nagano, Japan

Alcohol concentration: 43%

Its name "Cosmo" refers to a mountain located in the mountains surrounding the winery. Mars malt whiskey "Cosmo" is a blend of single malt whiskey distilled and aged in Shinshu and single malt whiskey distilled and aged in Scotland.

There is no year on the label, so the single malt whiskey used is relatively young. As you may know, the distillery started distilling again in 2011, and old Scotch whiskey is also very expensive and rare.

So the head blender decided to focus on selecting each malt whiskey himself based on a specific taste profile.

Aroma: Mild, Honey, Soft

Palate: Rich, sweet, honey, caramel, light, smoky and split fruit

Aftertaste: mild and pleasant

A delicious blend of sweetness such as honey, caramel and ripe fruit, subtly accentuated by some woody and smoky hints.
