The Macallan First Edition is the debut of the Edition series. It celebrates The Macallan's unparalleled oak stewardship policy, which oversees the entire process from wood sourcing to finished, seasoned casks.

Showcasing the influence of The Macallan's exceptional oak casks in the whiskey, the result is a bold single malt drawn from eight of the finest European and American oak cask styles and sizes.

Sherry is seasoned and aged to perfection before being combined to create this rich and varied whiskey, with the characteristics of each cask style present within the whiskey itself.

Color: natural honey

Aroma: Vibrant and intense aromas of orange, apple and dried fruit. Vanilla, toffee and chocolate complement the oak tone.

Palate: Open to warm woody spices followed by nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and toffee. Fruit emerges later - fresh and balanced with fresh oak.

Finish: soft and lingering.
