A Tale of Missed Opportunity That Needs to 'Hold on to the Knot'

The Macallan Folio 5 commemorates an ad featuring the story of "Luggy Bonnet" with the words "Keep the knot tight." The sketched image recalls an acquaintance scene on Speyside at the end of the day, when a sportsman talks about a so-called "disaster", the chances of being abandoned by "Laird" due to wearing a hat to cover the remains of Macallan from his ears.

The allure of this charming Single Malt whiskey is defined by rich date aromas and fresh fig aromas, combined with warm ginger and wood spices for a sweet raisin finish. The whiskey is inspired by the iconic ad and brings this unforgettable campaign to life again.
