Louis Roederer inherited the Champagne house in 1833, starting a tradition of excellence. His unique approach focuses on the soil. In 1876, the First Palace made a winery of prestige, 'Cristal;' they also made champagne exclusively for Tsar Alexander II. Run by the seventh generation, they remain family owned and produce artful and elegant champagnes.

Sparkling and lively champagne, delicate knits and elegant ensembles. It's creamy and smooth in texture, with layers of yellow plum, chalk, toast, glazed apricot and lemon curd. Provides a lingering smoketinged surface.

NV Brut Premier is a gorgeous wine that definitely stands above the vast majority of wines in its price range. Obviously, it's quite possible to make champagne that doesn't cost a fortune. Ripe pears, smoke, spices, dried flowers and herbs are among the many nuances that emerge from the glass. The Brut Premier exhibits lovely mid-palate depth and incredible overall balance. Chef de Caves Jean-Baptiste Lecaillon has done the job again. This is a fabulous Brut Premier.
