Soft smokiness and intense fruit flavors make Jura 18 the top of the Jura range. Aged for 18 years in bourbon barrels before finishing in red wine barrels, this carefully balances the soft smoke from the distillery with the heavy flavors from the barrel.

Aroma: Creamy vanilla yogurt with vanilla notes to start. Soft mineral aromas emerge underneath, with spiced sweetbread, orange zest, brown sugar and white pepper. Finished off with toffee and milk chocolate truffles.

Palate: Soft spice grows through sponge cake and orchard fruit. The soft notes of the barrel's char provide a smoky background that builds up as the day progresses. Dried fruit, dark chocolate and lemon compote balance the smoke.

Finish: Caramel, spiced orange zest and chocolate spread before fading.
