Bottled directly from the cask without the addition of water to reduce the alcohol content, it delivers the extraordinary depth, complexity and balanced flavors that are now the established hallmark of our cask strength range. Version 3 is no exception.

The third release was created using an expertly balanced combination of three cask types – first fill sherry seasoned American and European oak casks with a small amount of refill casks for balance and depth.

Using a higher proportion of Orkney peated malt, our Whiskey Master Gordon Motion achieves an intense smokiness that begins with aromas of smoldering peat and lightly charred oak, balanced by honey glazed lemon and crushed anise .

Experiment with the amount of water added to discover what suits your palate best as you unleash this whiskey's distinctive flavors of ripe mango, cloudy heather honey and whipped vanilla cream with a hint of aromatic violet. pink grapefruit peel,

Freshly baked sponge cake and the last hint of heather peat smoke for a long and unique finish.

We have been distilling award-winning whiskey at our Highland Park distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney, since 1798. Age, experience and respect for tradition may define our whiskey, but Orkney sets it apart.
