The casks have a huge influence on our whiskey. As our new freshly made essential oils mature within them, the casks are aged for a long time to impart their rich flavor.

Only then will you taste our whiskey in its purest form and the impact of the cask when you bottle it straight from the cask without the addition of water to reduce the alcohol content.

Cask Strength Release 1 is matured primarily in cigar-flavored American oak casks of varying ages, hand-selected by our premium whiskey maker, Gordon Motion.

It is then bottled directly - without cold filtration - ensuring the essential DNA and natural color of our whiskey remains intact. This whiskey is nothing but whiskey itself.

Highland Park is highly balanced, with nothing less than an award-winning spirit.

It is sweet and smoky, with aromas of violets and ripe vanilla pods amidst a wave of violet aromas and ripe peaty smoke.

Rich and soft-bodied, with soft toffee, heather honey, freshly grated nutmeg and sun-ripened citrus fruit for an exotic crème brûlée.
