This is a very rich and complex single malt whiskey. Opening with tangy, spicy notes of creme brulee, heather honey, and crushed cinnamon, it's followed by a rich fruitiness—fresh pineapple bursting with sun-kissed lemon zest.

There's also a hint of freshly baked sponge cake, warmed up from the oven, and you'll find cinnamon again, but this time in baked bits. Aromas of citrus and vanilla linger in aromatic waves of peaty smoke.

For Viking Heart 15 Year Old, our Master Whiskey, Gordon Motion, has chosen primarily sherry-flavored European oak casks for warm, spicy aromas and sherry-flavored American oak casks to balance the sweetness of the vanilla.

Gordon expertly added several refills to soften and smooth the flavour, opting to bottle it at 44% ABV to give the whiskey vibrant fruit and a distinctive heather peat smoke.

Nose: Brown sugar, orange oil, cinnamon, soft vegetal peat.

Taste: Heather honey and smoke, complemented by vanilla, syrup and lemon.

Finish: Persistent spicy cinnamon and smoky embers.
