Dalwhigny Distillery is situated high in the Grampian Hills, close to the geographical heart of Scotland.

For hundreds of years, it has been a meeting point for livestock market, mainly cattle drivers from the north, or business travelers from Kintail, Skye, Hebrides and other places to the main markets of Criegg and Falkirk in the south.

At that time, there was already an illegal whiskey distillery in Dalwhiny, supplying alcohol to travelers who needed to stop and rest from time to time because of the long and arduous journey.

Despite the cold air throat and remote location, from Luohan and Dorwin, the abundance of pure water, abundant peat, and developed road and rail transportation on the mountain at an altitude of 1057 feet prompted the Dalvini Distillery to be established in 1898. This build.

Distilled in 2002, aged in Oloroso sherry casks to add a layer of rich fruit, and bottled in 2017.

Nose: Honey malt, soft sherry and comforting smoke.

Taste: Crushed almonds sprinkled with sugar and oak. This is followed by a dark berry jam, more sweet and juicy.

Finish: A little peat gushes out as a finish.
