The 2014 Fombrauge is still as heady and boozy as it comes from the barrel, and doesn't quite convey the impression of its peers. It's actually better on the palate, with rich red berry fruit and intense acidity to rival the powerful and powerful Saint Emilion. If the aromatics only bring more nuance and terroir expression, this could evolve into a fine 2014 Right Bank, so it could last three to four years in the cellar.
