Summus is a stunningly elegant wine, a remarkable blend of Sangiovese (used locally to make the famous Brunello di Montalcino), contributing body; Cabernet Sauvignon, fruity and structured; and Syrah, elegant , personality and fruity aromas. Each wine is individually vinified and aged for a year in French oak barrels to develop its unique style, then artfully intertwined with other wines to achieve a rare taste.
Summus is characterized by its rich color and lively flavors of ripe soft fruit. An additional 14-16 months of aging in bottle brings aromas of fruit, oak and spice. Summus pairs well with all red meats, stews, hearty pastas and cheeses.
