Named for "dawn" in Gaelic, Moch is a fantastic newcomer from Caol Ila and a must-try for fans of this illustrious distillery.
Moch is lighter in style than the standard 12yo and is a very easy drink to drink.
Caol Ila Moch is the distillery's first single malt whiskey selected solely on the basis of palate rather than age, wood, strength or finish.
The nose is creamy and lemony, followed by a silky medium bodied palate that is still peaty. The finish is dry, jet black, and very plentiful.
