Boomer, now owned by DIAGEO, is the only distillery in Northern Ireland that has been preserved to this day. It was founded in 1608, and its style has not diminished.

Despite a series of disasters such as factory fires, the Prohibition Movement and the competition of Scotch whiskey, Boomer still tenaciously survived for five centuries.

Using 100% Irish barley malt, it is brewed by the traditional Irish method without peat smoking.

The grain whiskey is slowly matured in American oak barrels for at least five years before being blended with Irish single malt whiskey to produce this original blend.

The Original Irish Whiskey, a blend of our own triple distilled malt whiskey and a lighter grain whiskey, won 36 awards this year.
