Product description:

Inspired by our experience at the Distillery's Warehouse 9, where visitors can taste whiskey straight from the cask, we are releasing our second annual 12 year cask strength for the second time, truly celebrating all that makes Bunnahabhain special. Compared to the milder 2021 release, it is less peaty, sherry and spicy, with more intense dried fruit and spice notes.

For this special edition, our blending team hand selected casks by type and profile. Matured primarily in first and second fill Oloroso sherry casks, with a dash of bourbon casks added to balance the flavors, this whiskey offers a 'behind the scenes' glimpse before it goes to our Master Mixologist spirit; Julieann Fernandez worked her magic to create our iconic 12-year-old girl.

Like all of our whiskeys, this one is unchill filtered and bottled in its natural colour.

Nose: Chocolate buttons, cranberries and cherries, with timely aromas of dates and raisins, complemented by woody spices.

Taste: Hazelnuts, topped with milk chocolate. Crisp green apples, poached pears and cloves balance the mild saltiness.

Finish: Salted almonds, cocoa powder, soaked berries and cakey spices.
