Benromach 21 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

First-fill sherry and bourbon casks kept the wine for over 20 years until it was bottled at 21. This Speysider has the classic subtle smokiness we know and love with mild spice and fruit notes.

Aroma: Intense Oloroso sherry, stewed plums, raspberry jam and juicy raisins, initially with notes of Pinot Noir, orange peel and dried apricots. Vanilla, roasted brown sugar, milk chocolate, and aromatic ginger spice emerge below, with sweet peaty warmth.

Palate: Aromas of stewed orchard fruit, chocolate raisins and Seville marmalade, followed by notes of honey, praline, red berries and gingerbread. In the background, there's black pepper crack, rich oak and smoke from a smoldering campfire.

Finish: Sherry notes lead the finish with hints of buttery toffee apple, oak spice and fruitcake.
