The Good Beer Project reached out to all our friends to create the Good Friends Project 2021-2022. For the first time in Hong Kong, passionate brewers, distillers and distillers have come together to drive the #DrinkforGood movement.

By crossing international borders and product categories, Good Friends Project 2021 - 2022 has brought in casks from renowned Danish cherry winemaker Frederiksdal. Their signature reserve wines are aged for a minimum of 30 months in these finest oak barrels. These casks were brought to Asia for the first time to be used by our passionate local brewers and distillers. Beers and gins from seven local craft beer brands Carbon Brew, Heroes, Gweilo, Good Beer Project, Lovecraft, Yardley Brothers and Young Master, as well as local gin producer NIP are aged in these special oak casks .

NIP Distillers first created a gin base that combined a range of festive botanicals including juniper berries, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, orange peel, cocoa and earl gray tea, they then made the gin in Frederiksdal Matured in French oak barrels. The resulting gin is a full-bodied and flavorful spirit that sips on its own, with a smooth, silky texture that's the product of the maturation process. With flavors ranging from dark fruit to chocolate to citrus and warm spices, this barrel-aged gin aims to spice up your holiday season with familiar seasonal scents, but with a new feel and experience.
