Highland Park Single Malt Whisky

Cask Strength Release No. 5 uses European first fill sherry and PX barrels for aging, and is paired with a small number of American first fill sherry barrels, refill oak barrels and bourbon barrels. The Cask Strength series is also a combination of Highland Park's traditional whiskey brewing process and modern flavors, exuding a complex and spicy dried clove, fresh oregano, crushed pine needles and lingering wood smoke, followed by a delicious and rich flavor of plums, dates and raisins. Influenced by Pedro Ximénez barrels, the smoky flavor also has the taste of fruit and sweet spices.
