Brady Altmore 15.3 Scotch single malt whisky

The new Ottomore 15.3 is the second-highest peat content single malt whisky in the distillery's history. The work beyond the experimental nature has officially debuted! The liquor in the bottle uses Islay barley harvested in 2017. These barleys are grown at Octomore Farm, 2 kilometers away from the distillery, perfectly showing the local terroir of Islay! The peat content of this work is 307.2 PPM. The super thick peat taste buds bring out the spirit concept of Brady Distillery's pursuit of extraordinary. In the oak barrel aging process, Brady 15.3 uses American bourbon barrels to give the basic taste buds, and then the liquor is placed in Oloroso sherry barrels from Fernando de Castilla Sherry Distillery in Jerez, Spain. These liquors have been sleeping in oak barrels for 5 years, bringing quite mature fruity buds.

Aroma: Smoky caramel candy, rich Islay barley sugar and a prominent honey sweetness balanced with fresh citrus. Dried fruits and crushed shells merge with the rich peat aroma of Otmore, while cloves, toasted nuts and a hint of coconut add depth and complexity. Creamy caramel, brown sugar and warm bready grain-based notes lay the foundation for this single malt whisky.

Taste: Ottomo 15.3 is powerful but extremely smooth, with a noticeable roundness and viscosity. Creamy caramel and creamy vanilla enhance the smoothness, and are embellished with dried fruit and sweet orange peel. Toasted oak and locally grown barley give the wine a dry, smoky undertone.

Finish: Burnt sugar, coconut and subtle sea flavors linger on the finish, while the rich peat leaves a lasting impression that you can’t help but come back for more.
