Bin 407 於 1993 年與 1990 年份一起推出，是為了應對越來越多的高品質赤霞珠水果供應而開發的。
受到 Bin 707 的啟發，Bin 407 提供了品種定義和可接近性，但仍然具有結構和風味深度。教科書赤霞珠，
品種豐富的 Bin 407 突出了 Penfolds 多產區、多葡萄園混合的回報，其核心是成熟的水果，敏感地使用了法國和美國橡木。

中等身材。多汁的紅醋栗果凍、黑李子（和李子酸度）、新鮮大黃。
酸度“恰到好處”——從最初的唇部接觸到飽腹感的生動傳達。
集成的拋光石墨單寧橡木與水果融為一體。總的來說，赤霞珠平衡和定義，沒有誇張。
