Chateau Leoville Barton (Chateau Leoville Barton) is a second-class classification winery, which is a red wine produced in the Saint-Julien appellation. The vineyards are planted on hillsides composed of Garonne gravel, on a bed of gravel clay limestone.

The wine ages for 16-18 months in oak barrels (60% new). Chateau Leoville Barton 2012 is a blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc.

Chateau Leoville Barton 2012 has aromas of white flowers (Acacia) and candied violets. The wine has an unforgettable long finish in the mouth.

Intense ruby/purple in colour, with notes of blackcurrant licorice and forest floor on the nose, Léoville-Barton's 2012 is a relatively full-bodied, full-bodied, masculine wine.

This full-bodied wine needs 5-8 years of cellaring and should age easily for 25-30 years.
