The 2012 vintage of Chateau Lascombes is an outstanding wine. This Margaux shows power and offers good concentration and balance.

This blue-purple full-bodied red wine offers aromas of acacia flowers, cornflowers, raspberries and blackcurrant, with a hint of toast.

This elegant and long vintage Margaux is well structured and full bodied. The 2012 Lascombes will drink in 12 to 15 years.

Wine Advocate-Parker: (RP94)

A blend of 48% Merlot, 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Petit Verdot, this inky-purple wine is ripe, progressive, full-bodied, full-bodied, and juicy. In other words, 2012 Lascombes loaded.

There is no doubt that the high proportion of Merlot in the final blend gives this wine a meaty and juicy quality not often found in Médoc wines. Full-bodied, pure, full-bodied and in another 4-5 years it should be at its peak for at least two or three years.
