Champagne ANDRÉ JACQUART Brut "Le Mesnil Experience" Grand Cru Blanc De Blanc Brut NV
Country: France
Capacity: 750ml
For four generations, André Jacquart's parents and grandparents produced only champagne grapes. In 1958, André Jacquart introduced a new spirit in the family, producing his own bottle of champagne at the grand estate of Mesnil-sur-Oger.
Champagne André Jacquard has been at the Vertus Premier Cru since 2004. Major work was carried out and the fifth generation, represented by Marie Doyard (granddaughter of André Jacquart), took over the business and inspired it with her own philosophy business. Interestingly, Marie's grandfather, Maurice Doyard, was instrumental in the founding of AOC Champagne and the delineation of vineyard areas.
André Jacquart's 60 acres of land are sustainably farmed according to "Culture Depends" guidelines.
Winemaking and Wine Considerations
70% aged in old Burgundy oak barrels. André Jacquart uses his barrel fermentation solution Aquaflex barrels for the wine fermentation of the Grand Cru Chardonnay grapes. These casks have a medium oak impact and deliver delicate aromas of vanilla and soft spices that accentuate the wine's initial fruit flavors. Zero dose. No malolactic fermentation. At least 5 years of exposure to distiller's grains before destruction.
tasting notes
A brilliant pale gold with tight beads and a stubborn mousse. Chardonnay green pear apple and toasty nose with a pronounced wet stone minerality. A lush, creamy mousse upon entry, rich and crisp, with a warm toasty component. Explosive aged Chardonnay elements, intense minerality and depth of flavour. Burgundy-flavored Chardonnay with length and persistence. Whether for a festive occasion, an exclusive aperitif or dinner, it should be enjoyed with refined dishes such as "Meuniere", steamed lobster or halibut.
Minimum five years lees contact before disgorgement.

Andre Jacquart is a “grower champagne” in the truest sense.
